Both groups will benefit because both are just at different stages in the menopause process. Each have symptoms to reduce, and the changes to the body that impact weight gain are the same for both. This is for all women 40+.
Weight loss varies from person to person. The important thing is that you're not white knuckling it through this program. Learn to lose in a sustainable way.
Symptoms stem from the impact of hormone changes in the body. We reduce them by looking at what is making them worse. In the course I'll show you how to group what you're experiencing into 4 main root-cause categories. We then work on nutrition & lifestyle changes to target each category. The great thing? We don't treat each of your symptoms individually, so relief comes much faster!
No. There are no products, food, supplements or equipment that you purchase thru the program. If you opt to lift weights, you will need those or access to a gym. I provide information on vitamins and minerals, but I always want you to try to get them through nutrition. Talk to your doctor before taking any supplements.
Definitely. I help you get past your biggest fear---what happens when you come off of the drugs. You'll learn valuable skills and we'll work to get to the root cause of why you're overeating. You also learn new skills to handle trigger events and how to get rid of the habits that are no longer serving you.
I'm a huge advocate of HRT. It provides prevention against heart disease, type II diabetes & stroke. Studies also show it helps reduce the instance of dementia & Alzheimer's. It's great to help with hot flashes, night sweats and other vasomotor symptoms but it doesn't help you with weight loss, to build muscle, strengthen bones or help with high cortisol or inflammation - all which cause symptoms. I would encourage you to do both!
We start where you're at and work to add in the nutrition your body needs to heal, reduce symptoms and shed weight. I help with meal plan ideas, recipes and lists of foods high in nutrition targets like fiber, protein and fermented foods.
You can continue working with me month to month. You also have access to the online course for life so if you develop different symptoms as you go thru menopause, you always have answers at your fingertips as well as guides & worksheets.
